The Omega Task

The Omega Task was founded by Ben and Taja in 2013. We just celebrated 10 years on our June 2024 Mission Trip! What started as a pile of dirt became a beautiful base and mission house that currently runs several ministries. Ben grew up in the coffee farms and was called to disciple in the very same neighborhood in which he was raised. His wife Taja runs a pre-natal program and together they run a kids Club and a youth group. The mission house also consists of a coffee shop and restaurant called The Bandola Cafe which sells its own coffee. It helps fund the mission and other ministries such as sewing and quilting classes. Ben's vision for the mission is to expand locations and leadership to train up missionaries and disciples by using sustainable developments. A southern Costa Rica location is in the works as we speak! If we had one word to describe Ben, it would be: Faithful. He looks at dirt and he sees a mission. He sees a solution. He sees a vision of the future.

Hebrews 11:1

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
