The best of both worlds................

Grecia, Costa Rica                           The Omega Task

The Omega Task was founded by Ben and Taja in 2013. We just celebrated 10 years on our June 2024 Mission Trip! What started as a pile of dirt became a beautiful base and mission house that currently runs several ministries. Ben grew up in the coffee farms and was called to disciple in the very same neighborhood in which he was raised. His wife Taja runs a pre-natal program and together they run a kids Club and a youth group. The mission house also consists of a coffee shop and restaurant called The Bandola Cafe which sells its own coffee. It helps fund the mission and other ministries such as sewing and quilting classes. Ben's vision for the mission is to expand locations and leadership to train up missionaries and disciples by using sustainable developments. A southern Costa Rica location is in the works as we speak! If we had one word to describe Ben, it would be: Faithful. He looks at dirt and he sees a mission. He sees a solution. He sees a vision of the future.

Hebrews 11:1

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Roatan, Honduras                           Island Family Ministries

Island Family Ministries was founded by Bill and Vicki Greer in 2017. They had visited the island and immediately sensed God’s hand directing them to fill the needs of those laboring to help the poverished people of Roatan. They felt led to build the facilities necessary to equip the called and to provide training for the people of Roatan in order to sustain themselves. The two main ministries they serve is Bread for the Bight, Pastor Dave and Heather Grenada and R Missions, Pastor Travis and Tish Morin. They serve two separate communities, Oak Ridge a.k.a the swamp, and the families of the Roatan Dump. The ministries here are endless including an orphanage, a rehab center, learning center, youth group, kids clubs, feeding families at the Dump, sports ministry, construction, and evangelizing. So much work to be done! God use us to be your vessels!

My first mission trip was the best trip I have ever been on. It was Holy Spirit filled the whole way through! God was speaking to me. He was speaking to my whole group. It opened my eyes to see how needed I was there. There was a reason God called me to come on this mission with Exodus Travel Ministries. God showed me my purpose and where I will be called to serve!
